Dr. Faiza Habib, University College London

We’re proud to introduce Dr. Faiza Habib, one of our fantastic lecturers for the Engineering and Science faculty at Innovate Summer Academy 2025.

A distinguished researcher and educator at University College London, Dr. Habib brings world-class expertise in materials chemistry and a passion for student-led learning to our summer academy.

With a PhD from UCL and award-winning research in metal-organic frameworks for biomedical use, Dr. Habib is a shining example of what it means to innovate. Her teaching style is interactive and inclusive, blending cutting-edge scientific knowledge with real-world application. Expect hands-on group challenges, field simulations and plenty of opportunities to test your ideas in the lab and beyond.

Under Dr. Habib’s guidance, students will explore a range of exciting topics—from robotics and renewable energy to thermodynamics and civil engineering. Whether you’re building a water filtration system or designing earthquake-proof structures, this programme is designed to challenge and inspire.
