As university admissions become increasingly competitive, our UCAS Research Skills Programme helps students to stand out. Offered by Innovate Summer Academy in partnership with GEC Academy, our programme is an excellent opportunity for students aged 14-18 to strengthen their applications while developing essential academic skills.

After successfully completing the programme, you will earn 8 UCAS Tariff Points, strengthening your university application and giving you a competitive advantage. You will also receive a Certificate Award regulated by Ofqual, further enhancing your academic credentials.

This four-week online programme, with an additional week for editing, teaches students how to conduct independent research, evaluate sources, and master academic citations—skills that are invaluable for admissions interviews and university success.

With small class sizes (3-5 students) and expert tutors from institutions like Oxford and Cambridge, students receive personalised support in a structured and engaging environment. The programme caters to various disciplines, including STEM, Business, and the Arts, making it an ideal choice for a wide range of students.

This programme operates on rolling basis for maximum flexibility and a minimum B1-B2 English proficiency is recommended.
